COMMERCIAL DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT
Designed and built 25,000-square-foot Chief steel building to meet the customer’s needs for offices, laboratory and warehouse.
SPRINGFIELD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
A 30-by-70-foot maintenance building constructed on the Springfield Regional Medical Center campus, which opened in late 2011 in downtown Springfield. The building houses snowplows, mowers and other equipment for upkeep of the hospital grounds.
A 2,700-square-foot steel building that provides needed room for the Urbana United Methodist Church’s gMrowing food ministry. The building, across the street from the church, includes an overhead door for deliveries, restrooms, workstation for the director and space for a walk-in cooler, freezer, food collection and distribution. Howell Buildings collaborated with the City of Urbana to design the building façade to comply with the city’s downtown historic district design standards.
URBANA UNIVERSITY WRESTLING FACILITY
Excited to get started on the Urbana University Wrestling Facility. This will be an 11,000 square foot building. In addition to wrestling it will house weight training plus public restrooms along with locker rooms, plus a planned concession stand and ticket booth.
